Willows Lodge Wedding Venue: Quiet Luxury in Woodinville Wine Country

As Seattle wedding planners who specialize in queer and LGBTQ+ weddings, we know our couples are looking for more than a pretty backdrop. You want a venue that delivers on all fronts: beauty, functionality, inclusivity, and vibes that feel like you. That’s why we love planning a Willows Lodge wedding in Woodinville.

Two brides smile in front of field in Woodinville WA.

This luxury lodge tucked into wine country offers everything you’d want in a Pacific Northwest wedding venue: gorgeous gardens, a rustic-modern lodge aesthetic, an on-site spa, mountain views, award-winning food, and even a couple of friendly resident pigs. And the best part? You get all of this just 20 miles outside of Seattle, without the headache of a true destination wedding.

What we love about Willows Lodge weddings

Let’s be real: Willows Lodge is wildly pretty. We’re talking lush, colorful gardens, old-growth trees, and the Sammamish River right at the edge of the property. It gives you all the moody, romantic Pacific Northwest vibes you could want.

But it’s also practical AF, which is what most couples really need. You’ve got indoor and outdoor options (so that PNW weather can do its thing without wrecking your day), on-site accommodations for you and your VIPs, and staff who are actually helpful, kind, and welcoming. No side-eye, no stress, no nonsense.

Willows Lodge wedding ceremony and reception spaces

Willows Lodge gives you the best of both worlds: a lush outdoor ceremony space and a modern, flexible indoor ballroom.

The Garden Gazebo

The signature ceremony spot. Picture saying your vows under a wooden pergola surrounded by colorful flower and herb gardens. Bonus: it’s designed with comfort in mind! In summer, the pergola provides shade; in cooler months, heaters and optional tenting can keep guests cozy. This outdoor space can seat up to 130 guests.

The Sammamish Ballroom

Neutral, elegant, and versatile. Indoors, the ballroom fits 130 guests for a seated reception. Add the patio and foyer, and you can expand up to 200 guests with tenting. Perfect for dinner inside followed by dancing outdoors, or vice versa.

The Burke Room

The ultimate prep suite. Think cozy stone fireplace, outdoor patio, giant vanity, and plenty of space for your crew to get ready without tripping over each other. It’s technically set up for wedding parties, but honestly? It’s also a great space to sneak away with snacks and champagne when you need a breather.

Guest Accommodations

We love a wedding venue with onsite accommodations. With charming lodge rooms on-site, your nearest and dearest can stay for the whole weekend. All wedding packages include a small block of rooms, so you don’t have to stress about where you’ll crash after the afterparty.

Willows Lodge wedding cost: Budget expectations

Here’s the money talk, based on their rates at the time of this writing:

  • Food & Beverage Minimums range from $5,000 (off-season Fridays) to $14,000 (peak summer Saturdays).
  • Facility Fees range from $3,500 to $9,000, depending on season and date.
  • A 25% service charge + tax applies to food & beverages.

What’s included?

  • Tables, chairs, and linens (with upgrade options if you want to level up)
  • All-day access to a getting-ready suite
  • Accommodations for up to 3 onsite rooms on the night of the wedding
    • The premium package also includes 2 nights in a suite for the night before and the night of the wedding.
  • Catering by the award-winning Barking Frog restaurant (that means seasonal, local, and seriously delicious food – no boring wedding chicken here!)

Check out their weddings page for up-to-date pricing.

Our take: Willows Lodge isn’t cheap, but it is a great value. Lots of venues make you rent every fork, glass, and table separately. Here, the essentials are included, and the food is a highlight, not an afterthought.

Insider tips for planning a Willows Lodge wedding

We’ve learned so many things from planning weddings at Willows Lodge, and we can’t wait to share all of our insights with you! Here are just a few tips to keep in mind for your big day:

Make it a weekend

Between the spa, the wine, the fire pits, and the gardens, Willows Lodge is basically designed for a wedding weekend escape. Book extra rooms and lean into it.

Trust the backup plan

If it’s sunny, the gazebo is magical. If Seattle rains on your parade, the ballroom has you covered without sacrificing style.

Plan for s’mores

Don’t skip the fire pits after dark! It’s one of those little touches guests will always remember (and nobody ever says no to a late-night treat).

Take advantage of the grounds

The gardens, river, and surrounding greenery make for next-level portraits. Plan a little extra photo time to wander the property. Don’t miss a fairytale photo at the stone wishing well!

Getting to Willows Lodge

Location is another win here. You’re only 20 miles from Seattle and 30 miles from the airport, which means guests can fly into Sea-Tac and be sipping Woodinville wine in just over an hour (if traffic permits, but that’s a different story).

Willows Lodge is conveniently located just 3 miles off I-405 N (exit 20B), just across the street from Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery, in the heart of Woodinville wine country.

One of the best parts about Willows Lodge is its prime location in the heart of Woodinville wine country. There are so many options for your guests to fill their wedding weekend itinerary with wine tastings, vineyard tours, and amazing cuisine.

Is a Willows Lodge wedding right for you?

I’d recommend Willows Lodge to couples who:

  • Want a peaceful, relaxing wedding weekend that feels like an escape
  • Love wine country vibes but don’t want a true destination wedding
  • Want outdoor beauty with indoor backup (because, Seattle)
  • Care about food and want to eat really well on their wedding day

If that’s you, Willows Lodge deserves a spot on your list.
