Nick and Franklin’s Magical Forest Wedding at Trinity Tree Farm

Nick and Franklin wanted the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest to be on full display at their wedding. They also wished for an indoor-outdoor venue. And they planned to splurge on florals, so we wanted a backdrop to show those off, too!
So we needed a wedding venue that would fit their magical forest vibes, without sacrificing their modern style. Enter Enter Trinity Tree Farm, a working Christmas tree farm nestled in the foothills of the Cascades.
Maeve & Santiago’s Handfasting Elopement at Rattlesnake Lake

When I met Santiago and Maeve via Zoom, they were scrambling to get all their belongings packed and get on the road for their cross-country move from Texas to Seattle. They reached out because they were planning a truly classic elopement: running away together, to a new city, with only a couple weeks to throw […]
Ty & Tere’s Seafood Boil Wedding with a Female Mariachi Band and Double Outfit Changes

When Ty & Tere told me what they had planned for their Chicago wedding at The Lytle House, I knew it was going to be right up our alley. Outfit changes for both to showcase their masculine and feminine sides? An all-female mariachi band? Their loved ones officiating the ceremony and performing as part of […]
Four Seasons Seattle Wedding | Maddy and Kevin’s Winter Wonderland

Fun fact: Maddy & Kevin were the very first couple to hire me after I relocated to the Pacific Northwest! I’d run a special offer with our friends at Offbeat Bride, which they saw. Immediately, they were like: “A queer wedding planner who is also a theatre stage manager? We need to hire her!” And […]
Katie & Greg’s Big Spring Wedding at the Madison Event Center

Katie & Greg’s big spring wedding day wedding day unfolded just outside of Cincinnati at the Madison Event Center, where their guests gathered for an emotional wedding ceremony. A night of dining, dancing, and mugging for the photo booth followed, capped off with a treat from Skyline Chili!
Christina and Amanda’s Glacier National Park Elopement

Amanda and Christina were planning a fall wedding in the midwest. Then COVID hit and everything changed.
Hazel & Jeremy’s Non-Traditional Vintage Wedding at Union/Pine Portland

Dramatic, hazy entrances, silent wedding vows, 234 air plants and not a white wedding gown in sight. When I say that I love planning offbeat and alternative weddings, Hazel and Jeremy’s wedding at Union/Pine in Portland is exactly the kind of party that I’m talking about. It’s been months and I still can’t get enough of the witchy vibe or their vintage, boho vision
Caroline & Jenny’s Colorful Riverfront Park and Brewery Wedding in Aurora, Illinois

One of my favorite parts of this wedding was how colorful everything was. From the deeply saturated hues in their DIY flowers to their multicolor ribbon backdrop and bunting to the rainbow ribbon wands we set out for guests and the sprinkles on their cake, you couldn’t look in any direction without being smacked by colors!! The wedding party was decked out in shades of gray – the only muted color in sight – and their bold bouquets and boutonnieres really popped.
